Security Proxy DownloadInformation about the Okkam ENS security architecture and its functional components is available here. Information about how to access protected ENS APIs is available here. Okkam security proxy is to be used by application developers that need to access protected ENS APIs. There are two categories of ENS APIs: open (unprotected) ENS APIs and protected (controlled access) ENS APIs. The unprotected APIs do not need a proxy component, they can be directly accessed by standard WS APIs means. The protected APIs require a security proxy component that authorizes an entity to the ENS. Download Okkam security proxy by clicking on okkam-proxy_v1.16.zip (17 MB). It is a zip package containing all necessary data for the proxy to function. Installing the proxy component is unzipping the downloaded file into a location (a folder) of your choice. We name the full path to that folder (location) as PROXY_ROOT. Run PROXY_ROOT/okkam-proxy.exe if Windows OS, or PROXY_ROOT/okkam-proxy.sh if Unix OS. The security proxy requires Java 6 installed on your machine. If you do not have Java click here to download it. One needs to register to OKKAM ENS system to use the proxy. You can register via the proxy GUI following the registration link when you run the proxy. If you experience any problem of using the security proxy component, please contact us at
